George looks back over his career and talks about the influence that Duke Ellington, Ray Charles and Miles Davis had on his tastes as well as the different styles he likes to explore when creating music.
Jamie also selects another session from the BBC archives. So far, he has played sessions from Duke Ellington, the John Surman Octet, Tubby Hayes and Oscar Peterson, dating back to the 1960s.
